Our Himalayan Salt makhana is made from size 4–5 grade fox nuts — the largest, most uniform makhana selected through our rigorous 6-point size grading system. Bigger size means more surface area, a more even roast, and that perfect, airy crunch in every bite.
These fox nuts are harvested by hand from the 50+ pokhars (ponds) we have mapped across Bihar, by the Mallah community — the original custodians of makhana cultivation. We source directly from these farmers, cutting out middlemen and ensuring they receive fair prices for their craft.
